St1tchStreet — Keeping the path together.

ST1TCH STREET, LLC.

Security Research

Our Device Security Research function investigates the security, privacy, and owner control of connected devices and software systems. The work combines reverse engineering, controlled testing, and purpose-built analysis tools to understand how systems behave and where their security boundaries can fail.

Security leadership

Cliff Bibbs

Architecture & Security Research Lead

Cliff Bibbs leads architecture and security research at St1tch Street. He oversees the Device Security Research function and the architecture of AiNEE, including investigations into device behavior, software isolation, and tools for repeatable security analysis.

He holds the ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Research scope

Our research focuses on understanding firmware, network behavior, and application boundaries, including insecure services, unexpected remote-access behavior, telemetry, and vulnerabilities. The purpose is to evaluate risks and investigate ways to strengthen security while preserving intended functionality.

Current device research uses company-owned equipment. Work on other systems requires explicit authorization. Findings distinguish observed behavior, reproducible results, and unresolved hypotheses.

Research tooling: PCSX2-AI

PCSX2-AI is a research fork of the open-source PCSX2 emulator, built as a controlled testbed for studying Luac0re behavior and investigating exploitation techniques associated with console PS2 compatibility. Custom debugging and AI-assisted tools support memory inspection, processor-state analysis, and execution control.

This work develops the tooling and analysis methods used to examine how software crosses security boundaries. Existing evidence includes a Windows build and a recorded demonstration of selected debugging commands. The prototype is paused; no verified PS5 exploit is claimed.

Connection to our systems research

Understanding security boundaries also informs our work on Velum OS and increasingly capable AI workloads. Our Systems Research program explores isolation and controlled access at the operating-system level; AiNEE investigates dependable context handling and efficient local AI.
